Fulham boss Martin Jol insists he doesn't go to war with his players.

Jol believes his image is unwarranted.

"I think it is a bit about me," he said. "If they look at me they think of someone who has bust ups all the time, but to be fair nothing is what it seems with that. What I think about myself is that I'm a nice guy.

"The players I feel always have a nice excuse to use a bust-up as a reason to leave a club. I never had a bust up here."
