Fulham boss Martin Jol insists they're not in for Catania striker Maxi Lopez.

The Dutch boss says Fulham never planned to buy the Argentinian forward.

"They say there is no smoke without fire but our intention was never to buy Maxi Lopez," said Jol.

"We have got an interest in good players but in a different sort of scenario."
