Fulham boss Martin Jol has confirmed plans to send Matthew Briggs out on-loan.

The 22-year-old left-back had stints at Bristol City and Watford last campaign, and the Dutchman admits his chances at Craven Cottage are limited.

Jol said: "I think Briggs could do with another 25-50 games, and if not he stays here and he'll be a back-up player."
