Fulham boss Martin Jol is convinced more is to come from Bryan Ruiz.

Jol is still waiting for his £10million arrival from Twente, Bryan Ruiz, 26, to fire properly - but is confident he will eventually make his mark.

He said: "When he signed I said, 'Give him three weeks', which was a joke.

"Half of the foreigners who come here struggle initially. It is very difficult when you come to this country. Some players need a couple of months, others a year.

"Bryan is a quality player -don't forget Moussa Dembele needed seven or eight months to be the player he is now."
