Fulham boss Martin Jol is eager to sign permanently on-loan Stuttgart striker Pavel Pogrebnyak.

Jol is keen to make the hitman's stay by the Thames permanent when his stint finishes in May.

He said: "He's on loan with us to the end of the season and after seeing him we would like to keep him.

"It's a risk. But he also took a risk by coming here. Not a lot of players would have done that.

"Hopefully he will keep on scoring goals and then we will see what will happen."
