Fulham boss Slavisa Jokanovic is full of praise for FA Cup opponents Tottenham.
However, Jokanovic wound up Spurs chief Mauricio Pochettino by telling him: The teams you coach are prettier than you were as a player.
He told The Sun: “People have talked many times about his team being like the coach when he was playing.
“I'm not sure. He's like a lot of Argentinian people — always wanting to win. He is just a little more aesthetic as a coach.
“Apart from being competitive like he was as a player, his team play a different style to the characteristics he showed.
“He was a very good centre-back but right now I believe he's a better coach than he was a player.
“He was a hard man to play against — strong and competitive.
“But as manager of Espanyol and then in three or four years in England he has shown a perfect understanding of his job and pushed himself to the first level of managers in the world.
"You must respect that."
