Fulham boss Hughes: Chelsea spending adds pressure to Ancelotti

Fulham boss Mark Hughes says Chelsea's January spending has put pressure on manager Carlo Ancelotti.

Hughes says the deals for David Luiz and Fernando Torres means Ancelotti must clinch a top four finish.

"Chelsea have bought those two players to get into the Champions Leagues but coming in January is tough," he said.

"There is an idea that they have to make the difference. If they don't get into the Champions League then questions may be asked.

"But it isn't much of a risk signing these players because they are surrounded by quality and that can help you."
