Fulham boss Roy Hodgson says Bobby Zamora's return from a collar bone injury could save him having to buy a new striker.
The England hopeful is ahead of schedule in his rehab.
Hodgson told fulhamfc.com: "It's [the injury] something Bobby's got to live with and he actually wants to get back as soon as possible. He's capable of dealing with the situation and pain that comes along. He's feeling very confident at the moment and with out any luck he might be out as lot less long than we originally thought and that might also affect our thinking in the transfer market."
