Fulham boss Roy Hodgson is upbeat over the fitness of Brian McBride.

Hodgson said: "Brian is not yet in a situation where he is able to train with the team every day.

"We have to be very careful. We can't just throw someone in who has had a serious injury just because we like him and we know how good he has been in the past."
