Fulham boss Roy Hodgson admits he may rest players for tomorrow's clash with Liverpool.
The Cottagers are focusing their efforts on winning the Europa League and have a semifinal with Hamburg to consider.
Relegation strugglers West Ham have already complained to the Premier League about Fulham's team selection this season after Hodgson made six changes and lost 2-0 at Hull City last month.
The Fulham boss's latest decision could have implications at the other end of the table in the race for Champions League qualification. Manchester City, currently in fourth place, Tottenham and Aston Villa are battling with Liverpool to finish in the top four and are certain to question Hodgson's line-up for a crucial match.
But Hodgson said: "We have one or two players who took quite serious knocks in the game and we'll have to re-assess. Luckily, we're getting more and more players back to fitness and that will give me the chance to make some changes in the team.
"I don't think that it's going to be possible even if I wanted to play the same XI, because I don't think everyone will be recovered from this game and the knocks they took in it."
