Fulham are chasing Middlesbrough midfielder Gary O'Neil.
The Mail on Sunday says Gordon Strachan emphatically clinched his first win as Middlesbrough boss but could face a fight to keep O'Neil amid interest from Fulham.
Roy Hodgson, Fulham's manager, was at Loftus Road to watch O'Neil ahead of a possible bid for the midfielder.
Boro thumped the R's 5-1 yesterday.
