Fulham boss Hodgson: Last season achievements beyond wildest dreams

Fulham boss Roy Hodgson has scoffed at suggestions they could crack the top four.

"We know people will look at where we finished and ask if there is room for improvement," said Hodgson. 'A top-four spot has been talked about as a possibility. It could be no more than foolish ambition - and that's why it could be damaging.

"What our players produced was beyond our ambition and our dreams, if magnificent. But when you analyse the Premier League, the difference between seventh. place and 15th or 16th is not so great and nothing like the difference between seventh and the top four. I will be looking for us to have another solid season."
