Fulham boss Roy Hodgson says Mark Hughes cannot have any complaints about the spotlight on Manchester City.
"Pressure is part of football and Mark knows that," said Hodgson. "I don't think he requires sympathy.
"I'm sure he realised the situation when he took over. Once an owner starts saying you can buy players for £30m, he is saying, 'We don't want to be the Manchester City of old, we want to be a Manchester United'. I think Mark knew that."
