Fulham boss Hodgson happy for Duff after comeback goal

Fulham boss Roy Hodgson was pleased for Damien Duff after he struck the equaliser in their 1-1 draw with Bolton Wanderers.

Hodgson was particularly delighted for Duff, who shook off the disappointment of Ireland's failure to qualify for the World Cup finals, with a superb strike.

Left-footed Duff smashed the ball into the bottom corner with his right foot to earn Hodgson's side a deserved point.

"He's a good player and he's played a lot of matches recently," said Hodgson.

"He is like a lot of left-footed players who, over the years, develop a good right foot as well.

"He has worked hard on his so-called wrong foot that I would now describe him as a two-footed player."
