Fulham boss Roy Hodgson says defender Brede Hangeland will only be sold for top price.
He told the club's official website: "If clubs look at one of the star members of another team and an international, they have to realise that they have to offer the sort of money he is worth.
"They might get lucky and get the player a bit cheaper than his real worth, or they might have to pay a bit more.
"That could be the situation with Brede - people know taking him from us would be an expensive business. So hopefully they're looking elsewhere for cheaper alternatives."
