Fulham boss Hodgson braced for Bullard offers

Fulham boss Roy Hodgson says Jimmy Bullard will only leave for top price.

The Cottagers' boss turned down a bid from Bolton for the England midfielder this week and is holding out for at least £6million.

Hodgson insists he is happy to keep the midfielder, 29, who is injured for Sunday's clash at West Ham, but will not stand in his way if a club matches their price tag.

He said: "Bolton made an inquiry for the player but we have our valuation and they offered something considerably less.

"If they're not pursuing the matter, it means we can keep him. But we know where we stand in the market and if big clubs come in for players it's difficult to nail their feet to the floor."
