The Australian goalkeeper was criticised for his performance in last weekendâs 3-0 home defeat to Tottenham but Jol feels he will be back in touch when the Cottagers host Newcastle United on Monday night.
âIt is always the same,â Jol said. âThree weeks ago we were all very happy at Fulham and two weeks later the situation totally changes.
âIt is the same with goalkeepers. You make one mistake and everyone will doubt your quality and talk about it, but he is strong enough.
âHe is a very good goalkeeper. He saved a lot of points for us so he will be back.â
