Fulham and Bolton Wanderers are battling for Le Mans' off contract fullback Jean Calve.

"In England, there are Fulham and Bolton interested as well," Calve told football365.fr. "There is interest, but I need to take the time to study the different projects.

"It should not be just because the club want to sign a free agent.

"I need to play to keep improving. It has been a beautiful season, the most consistent of my career.

"I have been the most-used player for the club this season. That is a good sign. It is hugely satisfying, but also because the results have been good."
