Fulham will have to take on Tottenham this weekend without star goalscorer Clint Dempsey.
The USA international, scorer of 17 Premier League goals this season, has been struck down by an abductor muscle strain and will not be available to take on Spurs at White Hart Lane as the Cottagers aim to break their points record in England's top flight.
"Clint is injured so he won't play on Sunday. He's got a problem with his left abductor so he won't be involved,'' manager Martin Jol confirmed to the club's official website.
