Fulham have made a bid for Newcastle United striker Dwight Gayle.

The Mirror says Fulham have made a £15 million bid for Gayle.

The 26-year-old was left out of the Newcastle squad for the side's win over West Ham and it is believed that Newcastle will consider bids for the striker as they look to offload him.

Gayle scored 23 times for Newcastle last term.

But it seems Rafa Benitez is prepared to do without this term.
