Reports on Tuesday were linking Fulham with a move for ADO Den Haag duo Wesley Verhoek and Lex Immers. The Cottagers are reportedly leading the race to sign 24-year-old winger Verhoek despite competition from the likes of Rangers, Nottingham Forest and several leading Dutch clubs.
Team-mate Immers is also reported to be on boss Martin Jol's radar, with the club looking for a loan with a view to a permanent deal for the 25-year-old.
The Cottagers did not comment on the speculation that they had bid for the pair when contacted by Press Association Sport.
