Birmingham City face a battle prising Paul Konchesky away from Fulham.

The People says Brum are set to go back in with a second offer for the Fulham full-back this week.

But the Cottagers are not interested in letting him go.

Instead, Fulham will offer 29-year-old Konchesky a new deal in the next month, meaning Birmingham boss Alex McLeish must search for a left-back elsewhere.
