Fulham attempt to beat QPR for M'Vila

Fulham boss Martin Jol is joining the battle for Rennes midfielder Yann M'Vila.

The People says Jol will make an £8million offer for France midfielder M'Vila, in bid to snatch him from under the noses of QPR and Newcastle United.

Hoops boss Harry Redknapp flew to France last night to watch M'Vila play for Rennes, but the 22-year-old is reluctant to sign for the Loftus Road club.

Jol has had his scouts watching M'Vila and is keen to sign him after negotiations over Tom Huddlestone stalled over Tottenham's asking price.
