Fulham attacker Clint Dempsey can't believe West Ham United lodging a complaint against their team selection last week.
The USA star was brought into the side for the 2-0 defeat at Hull City, where Roy Hodgson rested five men for the Europa League game with Wolfsburg.
"It's disrespectful to me because I was on the pitch against Hull," fumed Dempsey. "I don't feel I'm a weak player. I felt strong and confident and I tried to get the job done.
"West Ham are under pressure - there is a lot of money at stake if you go down.
"I'm sure it's frustrating for them, but we have to do what we think is best for the club."
