Fulham and Blackburn circle for Huddersfield striker Rhodes

Fulham and Blackburn Rovers are reportedly battling it out for Huddersfield's Scotland striker Jordan Rhodes. It is understood Fulham bid £2m for the 22-year-old last month - but this was rejected out of hand as being too low.

However, the Cottagers biggest rival could come from the Championship with Blackburn ready to enter the bidding.

Rovers, who have recently lost new signing Leon Best to injury, are back in the market for a high-profile striker and they are understood to have made an enquiry.
