GOAL Baggies keeper Scott Carson handed Fulham the lead in extra time when he got his hands to Simon Davies' 30-yard drive but deflected into his own net.

The Cottagers came out firing in the second term and were 2-0 up just over ten minutes in when Clint Dempsey headed home. GOAL The USA international was the recipient of a nice Davies corner and nodded home from the edge of the six-yard box for his sixth of the term.

GOAL And nine minutes later, Mark Hughes' men wrapped up the contest when centre-back Brede Hangeland scored with his own header from another Davies corner to record their second win in three matches.
