Christian Fuchs insists Leicester City fans can be excited about their future.
Fuchs admits that the club failed to reach their target of finishing seventh and clinching European qualification, but the Austrian believes finishing in the top ten in the Premier League for only the second time in 18 years is a decent finish.
The Austria defender said: “It has been a season of ups and downs.
“We finished up on a high and although we lost at Tottenham on the final day it was a better performance. We wanted to finish on a high to go into the next season.
“Finishing ninth was okay. We all know there was more potential and we could have got Europa League. We missed our target, but to finish in the top ten is a good result.
“It shows the potential this team has, although overall we were not 100 percent successful.
“We have a lot of young players coming through. Harvey Barnes is in around the first team and he has great potential for the future.
“We are trying to build a proper team with the young boys coming through the academy. It feels good."
