Fu Yixiang, vice-president of the Italy-China Chamber of Commerce, has revealed some of the plans that exist for AC Milan. Yixiang has confirmed he's acting as an intermediary between Chinese parties and Silvio Berlusconi, the owner of Milan.
"Berlusconi wants to sell. Milan are among the top five foreign clubs most loved by the Chinese and so enjoys much popularity. Like all Chinese investments made in the last period the head and arm will remain Italian," he assured on Telelombardia.
"Several Chinese businessmen have given me a written mandate for the purchase of Milan. The figure is close to one billion, we want Milan to return to the glories of the past. We would like Berlusconi as honorary president, but also the current leaders who've known the environment for many years."
Yixiang also revealed: "The future of Milan will be populist. Our project is to bring 10,000 Chinese fans to AC Milan in every game, to create a continuous flow between Italy and China for a total of 500,000 Chinese tourists in Italy."
