Tottenham have signed former Manchester United defender Zeki Fryers from Standard Liege. The 20 year old left Old Trafford in July after failing to agree a new contract with the club, despite being highly rated by the backroom staff.
A statement on the official club website read: "We are delighted to announce that we have reached agreement with Standard Liege for the signing of Zeki Fryers.
"The young defender, capped by England at Under-16, 17 and 19 level, began his career at Manchester United before joining Standard Liege last summer. Zeki will link up with the Club's Development Squad."
