Tottenham defender Zeki Fryers is delighted with his first team involvement this season.
The former Manchester United junior featured in last week's Capital One Cup win over Aston Villa.
"It was great to be involved playing 90 minutes in the Capital One Cup. It was a good experience for me, it gave me a bit of confidence," he told the club's website.
"It helps massively when you've got Jan talking to you, and players like him. It's a good help and he gives you good information.
"Of course Jan knows both positions (centre-half and left-back) well, he reads the game well. That was good for me at Aston Villa because he was talking to me and helping me out."
