Arsenal defender Shkodran Mustafi fears their form surge could have come too late.

Mustafi and co saw off Southampton 2-0 last night.

The result kept their top four hopes alive - but they still need other sides to slip up to give them any hope.

“Well, I wish we found that before," he said when quizzed about the Gunners' good form.

"But now we have three games and we have to give everything, like we did [against Southampton], to try and get everything out of all the games.

"Hopefully at the end we'll reach our goals."
