Chelsea goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois admits he couldn't handle seeing France win the World Cup yesterday.

Courtois is still angry over the manner of France's semifinal win against Belgium.

And he revealed on RBTF: "I turned off the television in the 94th minute so not to see the French celebrate their title.

"My buddies then told me that (Luka) Modric had just received the 'Best Player' trophy, and that they were going to announce the name of 'Best Goalkeeper'.

"When my friends told me it was me, I turned on the TV and went back to live it again! It's an incredible honor, I'm happy to have made a lot of stops to help the team. But it was not the most important, I wanted to go as far as possible."
