Toronto FC midfielder Thorstein Frings was pleased with their draw against New York Red Bulls.

The result keeps TFC on the upward curve after the sacking of Aron Winter.

Frings told the New York Post: "I think you can see that we are getting better and better every week. That's what we need. We need points and if you get points you get more confidence. I think you can see it every week.

"We worked together and that's the most important thing. We worked together as a team and we did very well today. If we play like this it is really hard to beat us."
