Friends insist Arshavin only thinking of Arsenal stay

Zenit St Petersburg midfielder Roman Shirokov expects Andrey Arshavin to stay with Arsenal.

Anzhi are being linked with Arshavin and have until Friday's Russian transfer deadline to close a deal.

"With regards to Arshavin’s possible transfer, Anzhi can try, of course, but would he go? In his case, not everything is measured by the number of digits in the contract. I don’t think money will tempt him to Makhachkala," said Shirokov.
