For the third time this campaign Wolves defender George Friend has headed out on loan, this time a month-long deal with Scunthorpe United.

Friend has had spells at Millwall and Southend United already this term and was wanted for a second month at Roots Hall.

"I'm delighted to join the club for a month," the 22 year old told the club's official website.

"It all came around very quickly - in the last couple of days - but I met the manager for the first time this morning and I was very impressed by him and his coaching staff.

"It seems a good club and I'm happy to be here."
