Former Tottenham goalkeeper Brad Friedel has backed second-choice goalkeeper Michel Vorm to replace the injured Hugo Lloris.
Spurs announced on Monday that France international Lloris has sustained a fractured wrist and could be sidelined for up to three months.
This news prompted Friedel to reassure Spurs fans that Dutch gloveman Vorm is an apt replacement for their captain.
"Spurs fans...not to worry, Michel is an excellent keeper and Hugo will do everything to get back quickly!," he wrote.
