Tottenham No2 Steffen Freund admits they have no idea of Emmanuel Adebayor's plans over whether he joins Togo's African Nations Cup campaign.

Adebayor, who is involved in a row with the Togo federation over unpaid bonuses, has until midnight on Wednesday to register himself for the tournament, which runs from January 19 to February 10.

"It's only speculation at the moment," Freund said.

"We are ready to wait for Adebayor's decision."
