Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger admits Abou Diaby has suffered a fresh injury setback.
Wenger revealed at his press conference on Friday morning that he will not rush Diaby into a return from his latest injury.
The midfielder reported a slight groin problem after playing for Arsenal's Under 21 side against Chelsea in midweek, which has ruled him out of Monday's clash against Newcastle in north London.
"Diaby played one half [for the Under 21s]," Wenger said at Arsenal's London Colney base. "How far away he is is difficult to say, but he had a little groin problem after the game so will not be available for Monday."
