French defender Collin eyes Sporting Kansas City exit

Aurelien Collin has suggested that he may be on his way out the Sporting Kansas City exit door at the end of this season.

The 27-year old French defender has 12 months remaining on his MLS contract but has hinted at a possible return to Europe where he undertook spells with now-defunct Scottish club Gretna, Greek outfit Panserraikos, Welsh side Wrexham and Portugal's Vitoria Setubal.

When asked by France Football if he would be considering his SKC future this December, Collin suggested a shift could be on the cards.

"Yes, I have a year and of course I want to return to Europe," he said.

"The major European championships attract me. Large MLS clubs like New York or Los Angeles seek me but my ambition is to play at a good level in Europe this winter."
