Frei injury forces Toronto FC to sign youth academy keeper Roberts

Toronto FC have announced the signing of youth academy goalkeeper Quillan Roberts.

The 18-year old has been added to the senior roster after signing a first team contract and will now act as back-up to Milos Kocic and Brian Rowe.

A long-term injury to number one gloveman Stefan Frei has forced Kocic into the gameday spot with Rowe sitting on the bench, prompting the Canadian club to promote Roberts as reserves team keper from the youth setup.
