Crystal Palace boss Dougie Freedman is desperate that youngster Wilfried Zaha does not leave before the transfer window closes. The 18-year-old winger, who has been linked with top-flight clubs this month, came off the bench on Tuesday night to set up both goals in the 2-1 win over Coventry.
"It's not for me to say `come and get him' because people will come and get him regardless," admitted Freedman.
"It is a matter of holding on to them for long enough to enjoy it and when I hopefully have the say as to when they are good enough to represent another club then they will.
"My plan is to hold on to them long enough to enjoy them. First of all he has to get a lower squad number."
