Cristiano Ronaldo insists he was happy for Kaka to convert his penalty in Real Madrid's 2-0 win at Villarreal last night.
Ronaldo had struck the opener and there was speculation in the press box that the Portuguese was upset with Kaka taking the spotkick as he wants to beat Barcelona star Lionel Messi for this season's Golden Boot.
"It was Kaka's penalty," said Ronaldo. "The coach ordered that Kaka be our penalty taker. My goal is not to be top scorer.
"Yes, I don't care if I score or not, what matters is winning."
The former Manchester United star added: "Things have gone well, the team is winning and improving, scoring many goals. We must continue like this, I'm in good form."
