Mark Viduka is on the verge of signing with Fulham according to reports.
The 33-year old striker, whose contract expired at the end of last season, met with Cottagers boss Roy Hodgson on London on Thursday and is expected to undergo a medical soon.
The Australian international had been heavily linked with a move to Portsmouth but off-field uncertainty in the south coast caused the deal to collapse.
Viduka is available on a free transfer and Hodgson needs a striker indicating a deal is on the cards.
