Freddy Adu expects to start preseason at Benfica
USA star Freddy Adu expects to start preseason training at parent club Benfica.
Adu spent last season on-loan at AS Monaco, but saw little action.
The young forward said in his twitter account: "In Seattle now. I will be at Benfica for preseason, but just a little bit late. I'm planning on being there within the next two weeks or less."
Adu also revealed last week: "I would love to go back to Benfica this year, but sometimes we don't get what we want.
"As of now though, I am doing preseason there."

freddy adu, come to crystal palace (english championship club in london) on loan, make a name for yourself and a premiership will snap you up.
Cant understand Benfica...Adu has looked really useful on his rare appearnces...Why buy him if you dont play him...let him go somewhere he can play
I would love to see freddy just get a team that really wants him and plays him. He is so young and has to put up with all the BS because he was put on high ranks at such a young age. He will show his worth in the gold cup! Let's go you yanks!!!
