The midfielder, 19, said his £600,000 move from Aberdeen to Wigan was a “no brainer”.
Fyvie told the Scottish Sun: “It would be great to play there, and against Paul Scholes in particular.
“United are the biggest team going and he is still the world’s best central midfielder.
“Hopefully I will get the chance to show I belong at this level. It was a no-brainer when Wigan called. It was an easy decision.”
