Franck Tabanou excited about Swansea move

Former Saint Etienne wing-back Franck Tabanou is delighted with his move to Swansea City.

Tabanou agreed to his Swans move last week.

“I'm very happy to become a Swansea player," said Tabanou.

“I'm just arriving at the club and everything is new, of course. The manager and the club signed me because they trust me. I'm going to prove that I can start. The short-term ambition here is to become a starting player.

“I know the club has a lot of ambition and I want to grow with the club. This is an important stage of my career. I'm looking forward to playing in the stadium and I hope to make the fans happy.

“I like the way Swansea play, it's very difficult playing in the top four, but Swansea is a club that is able to compete with the top teams. I've been watching the Premier League on TV and now here I am in the best league in the world. It's a championship where physicality is of main importance. I know Swansea play with technique and skill too, though, and I like that."
