Chelsea are sudden favourites for Atalanta midfielder Franck Kessie.

The 19 year-old Ivory Coast midfielder has been linked with Liverpool, Everton and Juventus this week.

However, Chelsea have jumped to the front of the queue, says Corriere dello Sport, after talks with Kessie's agent.

Georges Atangana flew into London yesterday to meet with Chelsea officials in Cobham, which could lead to a January agreement.

Kessie turns 20 on Monday.
