Stoke City coach Gerry Francis hopes chairman Peter Coates receives the recognition he deserves as they prepare for the FA Cup final.
Francis, who enjoyed spells as a manager with QPR and Spurs, was recruited by Tony Pulis to bolster his backroom staff. The duo work well together.
Francis told the Sunday Mirror: "A lot of credit must go to chairman Peter Coates.
"He is a local man and has helped give the club a real identity. He and Tony have worked so hard for Stoke.
