Italian entrepreneur Francesco Becchetti is eyeing off a takeover of Championship outfit Reading.

Becchetti and former Juventus director Gian Paolo Montali have been in England for a tour of Reading's facilities.

The club's current owners Thames Sport Investment, led by Anton Zingarevich, will hold talks in the coming days with Becchetti, head of the Becchetti Energy Group, about a potential sale, says Gazzetta dello Sport.
