Paul Pogba has his starting place in France national team in question after a poor display in the last friendly against Italy.
France beat the Azzurri 3-1 in Nice on Friday, but the Manchester United ace failed to impress and was even jeered and whistled by the crowd when coach Didier Deschamps replaced him in the 87th minute.
Former French internationals Frank Leboeuf and Bixante Lizarazu have joined the criticism of Pogba's recent performances.
French publication, L'Equipe, gave the midfielder a 4/10 for his latest display, while Le Parisien was even harsher with their 3.5/10 rating.
Popular magazine France Football took a poll asking whether Pogba should start in national team's World Cup opener versus Australia and 73 per cent of 7,000 respondents answered 'No'.
The United star now has only one chance to prove his worth to Deschamps before the World Cup kicks off, when France take on the USA on Saturday.
